Upon arrival, I appreciated the friendly 24-hour reception staff who were always available to assist. The room, while basic, was clean, quiet, and equipped with air conditioning, which was essential for my comfort. The spacious toilet and generous shower facilities were a pleasant surprise, hinting at thoughtful design in otherwise modest accommodations. Free Wi-Fi in public areas worked adequately, although my room's connectivity proved inconsistent, which may impact those reliant on staying connected. The bed offered remarkably comfortable pillows, adding a touch of relaxation to my stay. While there is nothing particularly luxurious about Hostal Moncloa, the hotel provides necessary conveniences, including luggage storage and a leisure area.
